How to Get Rid of Pimples - Products to Avoid

There are hundreds (possibly thousands) of products to get rid of pimples and acne. The problem with most of them is threefold.

First, a great many of them irritate the skin. Specifically, they tend to dry out the skin, which causes redness and flaking. What's the point of a product to get rid of pimples if it just causes more skin problems?

Second, they don't treat the causes of acne, they only treat the acne itself. It's like bailing water out of a leaking boat instead of fixing the leak. It will work, you just have to keep doing it.

Third, most of them (around 75%) only treat the area that they're applied to. That can be very time consuming and a huge pain if you have a lot of pimples to get rid of.

So which do work?

There are a few natural treatments that I highly recommend, such as ginger paste, oatmeal paste, or honey. The paste much be applied to the affected area and allowed to sit. However, these treatments still only treat the areas you take the time to put them on.

If you really want to know how to get rid of pimples permanently, you have to treat the causes of acne, not just the acne. While there are a few products that do this, the one that I recommend is Acne No More, which you can read more about here. I like this product because it's inexpensive and treats the causes of acne, meaning it can actually cure your acne permanently. The only things that I don't like about it is that it does take some time for the full effects to take place, and there is some learning to be done (I'm lazy). But for getting rid of acne, I personally feel it's the best of the hundred or so products that I tried.

How to Get Rid of Pimples - What Are They?

In order to learn how to get rid of pimples, it's important to know what they are and what causes them. So, first things first, what are they? Pimples are basically clogged pores (usually follicles), and though not all pimples are a sign of acne, most acne sufferers will have pimples. More often than not, these pimples are caused by the pores being blocked by oil, then becoming filled with sebum (in the case of whiteheads) or keratin (in the case of blackheads). So the trick of how to get rid of pimples is simply to prevent oil from clogging the pores, right? Not quite, though it would be nice if it were that easy. They can be caused by many others things, such as hormones, adrenaline, or poor diet. What you really have to do is find a product that addresses all of the causes of acne, or teaches you how to simply and easily change some of your pimple causing habits. Stay tuned for reviews of the top products, why they don't work, and which ones do.

So keep reading! I'm going to post 2 tips a day, so read, enjoy, and finally learn how to get rid of your pimples permanently.
